The OCT is a device that can scan the thickness of the retina in the back of the eye. We utilize this advanced technology to assist in screening for eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and retinopathy related to the use of plaquenil. Dr. Ho uses the OCT along with the visual field to manage his patients that have glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
